Established by Philip Bright in 1989, the practice has grown progressively over the last twenty years, mainly as a result of personal recommendation.

The administrative offices are situated in Levens near Kendal, with ample on-site car parking.

Philip Bright travels extensively, visiting clients at home or at their business premises at convenient times in the area shown by the map. Broadly Otley, Ilkley, Keighley and Skipton areas of West and North Yorkshire, the A65 corridor, North Lancashire and South Lakeland. Modern communications facilitate acting for clients further afield.

Realistic fees are always agreed in advance.

A Yorkshireman, Philip Bright qualified as an accountant in 1973, and after a short period with large accountancy practices in London and Bradford, he joined a leading Yorkshire based estate/land agency as Partnership Secretary : heading the financial and administrative functions and learning about the taxation of land transactions. Following a successful sale of that business, in 1989, his own practice was born.

The practice is a member of The Society of Professional Accountants.
